Samudra hails from Sri Lanka and has a Diploma in Nursing from the College of Nursing Kurunegala and a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Nursing from the Open University of Sri Lanka.
She has worked in a variety of healthcare settings and hospital in Sri Lanka, including Emergency, Surgical, Intensive Care and Paediatric.
After nursing for 13 years in Sri Lanka, Samudra came to New Zealand and completed her Competency Assessment Program to achieve registration in New Zealand.
She is passionate about working as a nurse in Psychogeriatric Care and is finding it highly fulfilling.
